Connect your IPTV provider safely.

Use the connection format supplied by a provider you are authorized to access. These guides explain what each field means, how to enter it in ChannelSurf, and what to check when the first connection fails.

Before you connect

Four things worth checking first

  1. Confirm the account is active. An expired provider account can look exactly like a bad password or offline server.
  2. Use the original details. Copy from the provider’s official account page or message instead of retyping a long playlist URL.
  3. Check the connection limit. A provider may reject a new player while another device is actively using the same account.
  4. Keep every secret private. Playlist query strings often contain the same username and password used by an Xtream account.
ChannelSurf support does not need your provider password. When asking for help, share the device model, connection format, exact error text, and whether another channel works—but redact URLs, credentials, MAC addresses and pairing codes.

A quick format glossary

Xtream Codes
A structured provider API using a base server URL, username and password. It commonly supplies separate live, movie, series and EPG data.
M3U / M3U8
A text playlist containing stream entries and metadata. The URL itself may embed account credentials.
Stalker / MAG
A portal workflow that authenticates a device identity, commonly represented by an authorized MAC address.
XMLTV
An XML file containing channel identifiers and program schedules. It adds guide data; it does not contain the playable streams.

What happens after a successful login?

ChannelSurf loads the live lineup first so the app becomes useful quickly. Larger movie and series libraries can continue in the background. Available sections depend on what the provider returns, and catch-up depends on both provider support and usable replay URLs.

Profiles, favorites, Watch Later and local viewing history stay organized in ChannelSurf. Premium Cloud Sync can carry supported profile data across devices, but provider availability and media rights still come from the service you connect.
