The first beta stage focuses on whether the features work—not on collecting payments. Premium tools are available without a subscription during this stage so testers can exercise the full experience.

Some Premium features require a ChannelSurf desktop host. Device, codec, provider, network, and operating-system capabilities affect availability and performance.

Test for a month

Install updates, use your own lawful service, and report failures with enough detail to reproduce them.

Optional billing cohort

A smaller group may test Apple, Google, or Paddle sandbox subscriptions. Those tests will be clearly identified and will not require a real payment.

ChannelSurf is a media player. It does not provide channels, playlists, subscriptions, or media. Never send us provider credentials or playlist URLs.

  • You understand beta software may contain bugs and local test data may need to be reset.
